Cookie Policy

Last updated October 2026

This website uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel), and only after you accept them. Until you do, nothing is loaded and nothing is stored in your browser.

Who is Responsible

The person responsible for this website and the cookies it uses is Bernardo Oliveira Santos Silva, who trades as Quadrix, tax number (NIF) 266243401, with address at Av. Carlos de Oliveira Campos, 662, 4475-690 Maia, Porto, Portugal. Contact: info@quadrix.pt.

What we use

Google Analytics 4 (analytics): to know how many people visit the site, which pages they read and where they arrived from. It tells us what is useful and what should be improved.

Meta Pixel (advertising): to measure the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show them to people who have visited the site. It records pages viewed, a quote request being sent, and clicks on the phone number, email or WhatsApp. It does not send Meta the content you type into the form.

Nothing Loads Before you Accept

On your first visit a notice appears with two options of equal weight: accept or decline. Until you choose, or if you decline, neither Google Analytics nor the Meta Pixel is loaded. They are not merely switched off: no request to Google or Meta leaves your browser, so not even your IP address is disclosed to them.

Your choice is kept in the browser's local storage which, unlike a cookie, is not sent with every request and never leaves your device.

Cookies Used Once you Accept

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors. Lasts 2 years
  • _ga_17DXJLF3L9 — keeps the state of the visit session. Lasts 2 years
  • _fbp — identifies the browser so Meta can measure ads. Lasts 3 months
  • _fbc — stores the Meta ad click that brought the visit, when there is one. Lasts 3 months

Changing Your Mind

You can change your choice at any time, using the button at the end of this page. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

Where the Data Goes

Google Analytics is a service of Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The IP address is collected in anonymised form.

The Meta Pixel is a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, which may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Meta also processes this data under its own data policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).

Data you Send us

The quote request form collects the data you type into it. That is explained in the Privacy Policy and does not depend on cookies.
